People who have a drug problem do not usually realize or admit that they have a serious problem. At the time that they do acknowledge this sad fact, they will have already come a long way towards self-destruction. Even if people with drug dependency problems might say they feel happy, powerful, or that they are able to forget their frustrations when intoxicated, the truth remains that such feelings are temporary.
